Spotify – the award-winning Swedish-based music streaming service, already has more than 1.4 million U.S. users in less than a month after it finally launched in the U.S. Spotify now also has 175,000 paying U.S. subscribers, According to DigiTimes.

At least as important: Spotify now has 175,000 paying U.S. subscribers, less than a month after it finally opened its doors in America, says the same source.
With 175,000 paying customers Spotify is quickly catching up to Rhapsody and other subscription music services in the U.S. that took years to get started. Spotify reported that it has 1.6. million paid subscribers in Europe.
