Apple Releases $999.99 iMac For Educational Institutions
Apple on Monday morning quietly released a cheaper $999 iMac for educational institutions. The new iMac model is labeled “Education only” and is not available for individuals. The new cheaper iMac features a 3.1GHz Core i3 processor, 2 GB RAM, 250 GB of hard drive storage and an AMD HD 6750 with 512 MB but interestingly this model does not feature Thunderbolt, just a mini Display Port.
