Apple Enables MobileMe To iCloud Migration For Developers
As noted by 9to5mac, Apple has enable MobileMe to iCloud migration for developers with access to the iOS 5 beta or OS X Lion 10.7.2 preview to migrate their existing MobileMe accounts to iCloud.
The process is really straight forward, developers who wish to move their MobileMe account can do so by simply going to me.com/move. As previously noted by Apple some MobileMe services like MobileMe Gallery, iDisk and iWeb publishing will not transfer over to iCloud, however these services will still be accessible until June 30, 2012, even after moving to iCloud.
Developers (for now) and users who migrate from MobileMe to iCloud will get to keep their 20GB of yearly storage when the service launches sometime this fall. All individual MobileMe accounts included 20GB of storage per year, and with 5GB iCloud already gives to users for free, so users who migrate from MobileMe will get 25GB of iCloud storage from the start.
