Steve Jobs Email Confirms iWeb Will Be Discontinued
In email reply to iWeb/MobileMe customer, Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs confirmed the discontinuation of iWeb. According to email posted by MacRumors what they believe to be a legitimate email from Steve Jobs to a customer, In which the customer emailed Jobs to inquire about the future of iWeb and MobileMe and received the response below.
Q: Dear Mr. Jobs,
Will I need to find an alternative website builder and someone to host my sites?
I have invested a lot of time and effort and the thought of re-training sucks more than mobileme ever did.
A: Yep.

Those who use MobileMe for web hosting still have some times left to find new hosting as Apple has said that it will run MobileMe until next year. If we hear any official confirmation from Apple we’ll sure pass it along to you.
